Katie Holmes exuded boho chic while stepping out in New York City on Friday afternoon.
The 45-year-old actress donned a loose-fitting beige coat on top of a flowing black dress after she picked up a smoothie from a local juice shop.
The performer - who was recently spotted while stepping out with her daughter Suri - also kept a light blue button-up shirt wrapped around her waist, and she completed her look for the afternoon with jet-black shoes.
Holmes accessorized with a pair of wide-framed sunglasses and kept a sizable leather purse slung over her right arm.
The Batman Begins actress' beautiful brunette locks remained free-flowing and fell onto her chest and shoulders.

The performer's outing took place just after it was announced that she would be starring in the upcoming thriller feature Captivated.
In addition to Holmes, the Dito Montiel-directed movie will also star Al Pacino and Tony Kebbell, reports Deadline.
Captivated will be centered on a Calabrian mafia don who kidnaps the grandson of Jean Paul Getty, John Paul Getty III, and unexpectedly falls in love with his victim's mother during ransom negotiations.
Michael Mammoliti, the nephew of kidnapper Saro Mammoliti, will serve as one of the project's producers.
The entertainment industry figure took issue with the 2017 film All The Money In The World, which also covered the kidnapping of Getty's grandson.
Mammoliti spoke to Deadline and stated that the producers' goal for the movie was 'to give a voice to a person who's had none for 50+ years, and tell a side of this story no one knows.'
Benaroya Pictures CEO and IFT Founder Michael Benaroy also issued a statement to express that his collaborators 'couldn't be more excited to have it on our slate.'
Production for the upcoming feature is currently scheduled to begin in Italy this winter.

Holmes is also prepping to make a return to Broadway in an upcoming revival of Thornton Wilder's play Our Town.
In addition to the Dawson's Creek actress, the cast of the production will include Jim Parsons, Zoey Deutch and Ephraim Sykes.
The play will be directed by Kenny Leon, and he stated via Deadline that he was excited to 'present this classic to another generation of theatre lovers.'
Previews are set to begin on September 17, and an official opening will take place at the Barrymore Theatre on October 10.
